Know that you are a pearl
Emerging from your shell
Into a hostile world;
Know that you are flawed,
Beautiful just as you are,
Unique and brilliant
Woman know thy power!
Know that you are dainty and delicate;
That you are steely and soft;
That you breathe life into this world;
Know that you are significant!
Not a number to be counted;
Not someone’s lover or fool;
Not measurable by human scale
Woman know thy place!
Everywhere and anywhere you desire!
Know that you are boundless,
Able to soar above all things;
Know that you are irreplaceable!
Unlike any other before you or any to come;
Ordinary, extraordinary, one of a kind,
Unneeding of justification
