Burn the pages of our story
And forget that I ever loved,
Forget I ever wanted anything at all;
Erase the memory that I dared dream of you;
Wash over the fantasy,
The lies I told myself;
Undo the misery and pain
Of watching you use me,
Play with my toy heart,
Breaking it, and tossing me aside

Throw away the pictures of our life;
Drown out the words you said,
The promises that never saw daylight;
Pull veil over the sleepless nights,
And the longing that my soul suffered;
Turn a blind eye to the smiles
That used to live on my face,
Replace it with this feeling of the unknown,
And tears that flood empty eyes,
Let my rain wash away yesterday
