San Antone

I left my heart in San Antone,
Somewhere beneath those stars
On the back of horse,
In the care of a six shooting man
Who wore spurs on his boots,
Tight blue jeans and a white t-shirt
With a sweet farmer’s tan;
Eyes that looked like the heavens parted
And filled them with life;
A kiss that felt good on my lips,
And tasted like lemonade
On the front porch on a warm summer’s day;
Under a red, white, and blue flag,
And a big hearted smile
