It’s the first day of NaNoWriMo! As excited as I am about this, it’s my second try, and let’s just say the first didn’t go well. I’m hoping to make all the way to the end this time. I’m doing my best to let go of all the excuses and just go for it. If want to be able to call myself a writer, then I must write!
Day one you’re told to leave your inner editor behind and just write. That is a lot easier said that done. I don’t know about you, but my inner editor is like a two year old whose favorite word is “No”. It will be a struggle to silence this innate beast, but I’ll do my best. She and I, have already had our first battle today, but I won! Truth is the war has just began. 29 more days to go and 48K+ more words to write. Wish me luck!
