There’s a hallow place
Where my heart used to be,
An empty space,
Where our love once lived,
And I don’t know you tonight,
Don’t recognize the soulless eyes
And cavernous stare
I don’t know how to breathe
When you are here,
And I feel so alone;
Words leave me,
Because my heart aches,
It cries to know; simply say
What we’ve become
I can’t see pass the words said,
They used to mean so much,
Now they are washed away;
I don’t know anything anymore,
And silence is all that we have,
Silence resets the game
As we begin again
