My Favorite Books

  •

Recently I’ve tried to convince my mom that the reading world that not begin and end with Danielle Steele. Sure she has read other books, but in recent years I could not get her to move past the prowess of Ms Steele.

Finally I convinced her to dabble in something a little different. I still had to keep things in a familiar yet different slightly different neighbourhood. For this I turned to Amazon. Somewhere along in my browsing I came to Nicolas Sparks. Now like most women my age I’ve seen the movies and even loved some of them, but truth be told hadn’t read a single book. So I decided, to get her these books and at the same time I could read them.

When the books finally arrived, a new idea dawned on me. Write a blog about your favorite books. A different book each month. Some I’ve read before, others new. You make ask if they are new how can they be a favorite? Trust me I’ve seen the movie lol.

So April expect my first review. I’m starting with Nicolas Sparks A Walk to Remember. I’m sure somewhere along the way you’ll see some Ludlum, Austen, and Wilde.

P.S. I’ll try to make this work with my crazy schedule :)
