Fifteen screams at twenty five
To look in the mirror,
‘Cause the eyes that stare back are unrecognizable;
Unknown soul inhabiting a familiar body,
Foreign thought processes
Sickening to fifteen;
Twenty-five sees the world differently,
Twenty-five knows much more,
But fifteen still lives inside,
Fifteen still wants to be heard!
Twenty-five wonders about fifteen,
And how time transforms;
Realizing they are one and the same,
That fifteen needs ten years to evolve
